Summary: It was the perfect date, so naturally it had to go wrong.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Torchwood, or the characters.
The evening had gone surprisingly smoothly, unlike all their previous dates. Nice restaurant, great food, just enough wine to ensure conversation flowed easily. Perfect.
The bill paid, they finished their coffees and rose to leave when Ianto’s cufflink snagged on something. Without thinking, he jerked his arm.
A collective gasp rose from the other diners followed by applause, and Ianto glanced back to see their table centrepiece and coffee cups sitting on the table while the tablecloth dangled from his wrist.
As Jack started laughing, Ianto handed the tablecloth to a waiter and hurried out.
Their dates were definitely jinxed!

Date: 2014-04-03 10:32 am (UTC)I have another written for the current prompt, not entirely happy with it but it's not bad. Also got another idea that I'll try to write today. It's a great prompt thos week, so I don't know why I'm struggling to come up with ideas. I want to write one for FAKE from the same prompt too, but I have no idea what to do for that. Must re-read more of the manga, there are so many awkward moments I just can't settle on one, none of them jump out and give me a solid idea to work with *iz frustrated*
