“How dare you insult me! Do you even know who I am?” The unfortunate alien standing before the Torchwood team, looking somewhat bedraggled from a precipitous trip through the Rift, grew larger as it spoke, its body swelling within its tattered robes. “I’m Cheloosniak of Zindaria!”


“According to your insignia, you’re third undersecretary of transport, a very minor official of the smallest Zindarian borough,” Ianto corrected. “And you’re not on your own planet now.”


All the air went out of Cheloosniak as they visibly deflated.


“Gives a whole new meaning to inflating your own importance, doesn’t it?” Jack said mildly.
