“You’ve done alright for yourself, haven’t you?” Rhiannon’s friend Susan nudged Ianto in the ribs with a sharp elbow. “I mean, your bloke’s bloody gorgeous! Wouldn’t look out of place on the movie screen, or in a fashion magazine.”


The subject of Susan’s comments was standing right there beside Ianto, baring perfect white teeth in an equally perfect smile. He was practically preening.


“Shouldn’t talk about him like that,” Ianto admonished. “You’ll just inflate his ego when it’s already big enough. His head barely fits through the door as it is.”


“Hey!” Jack pouted indignantly.


“You know it’s true, Jack.”

Ah but Susan is right. Jack IS bloody gorgeous. Okay he knows it, but what is he supposed to do? Blush, simper and deny it? Then he wouldn't be Jack, would he?
