“JJ’s up to somethin’,” Dee muttered to his partner across their desks. “I just know it. He keeps starin’ at me whenever he thinks I’m not lookin’.”
“He does that all the time, Dee. He’s got a crush on you.”
“Don’t I know it! Lost count of how many times my ribs have gotten crushed!”
“Poor Dee.” Ryo smirked at his lover. “It’s so hard to be adored.”
“It is when it’s the wrong person doin’ the adorin’. I’d have no objection if you kept throwin’ yourself at me and kissin’ me like that.”
“I’m not big on public displays; you know that.” Ryo chided.
“Yeah, I do, and the private displays more than make up for it, but JJ’s never gonna give up as long as he still thinks he’s got a chance with me. Doesn’t matter how many times I yell at him, he’s obsessed. The moment I get up for any reason, he’ll be there, grabbin’ me, tryin’ to kiss me, yammerin’ on about… whatever. Drives me crazy!”
“I’m gonna get a coffee. D’you want one?”
“Yeah, please.”
Ryo stood up, leaned over, and kissed Dee right on the lips. “Let JJ chew on that. You’re mine.”
