A/N: Double drabble.
Dee held the bone-shaped treat up and Dick the dachshund whined softly.
“Sit!”
The small, fuzzy rump dropped immediately to the floor, right where the dog was standing for once. Training was progressing well; only a few days ago, Dick would have trotted up to Dee and sat on his foot. Dee gave the dog his treat.
Ryo smiled. “Well done.”
“That’s not all!” Dee produced another treat, dangling it above the pup’s head. “Beg!” he commanded.
With their short legs and long bodies dachshunds weren’t exactly designed for begging, but that didn’t stop Dick, who sat up on his haunches, front paws hanging down, brown eyes gazing hopefully upwards. He licked his lips.
“Good boy!” Dee dropped the treat and Dick caught it neatly. “He’s really smart,” he said, grinning at his lover.
“He’s a dog; he’ll do anything for food. He’s not so different from you in that respect. There’s a thought; if I dangled treats in front of you, d’you think I could teach you to do tricks?”
Dee leered. “Baby, you dangle that gorgeous bod of yours in front of me and I’ll do anything ya want, guaranteed.”
Ryo groaned. “I walked right into that one.”
