Summary: The Doctor to the rescue!
Disclaimer: I don’t own Doctor Who, or the characters.
The Doctor had only arrived a short while ago, but the veneer of respectability these people cultivated was already beginning to wear thin. They dressed the part of captain and crew, but he highly doubted this smart little spaceship belonged to them. In fact, he rather suspected they were the reason for the distress signal the TARDIS had picked up.
Space pirates, disreputable brigands who hijacked vessels like this one and either sold them or ransomed them along with their legitimate owners.
Well, that was why he was here, wasn’t it? To deal with the brigands and free the hostages.
