Summary: There’s a Weevil causing trouble…

A/N: Double drabble.
The SUV screeched to a halt in front of Ianto’s end-terrace house, and Jack flung the passenger side door wide.
“Hurry!”
Practically diving in, Ianto yanked the door shut again as Jack put his foot down, Torchwood’s official vehicle roaring away through the night-time streets.
“What’ve we got?” he asked as he fastened his seatbelt.
“Weevil.”
“Yes, you told me that much when you called. Whereabouts?” Ianto braced his feet as Jack took a corner on two wheels.
“Barry Island.”
“Barry?” That was unusual. As far as Ianto was aware, Weevils never went there. It was too far from Cardiff’s cosy local sewer system, and too crowded. Rogue Weevils preferred to hunt in shadowy alleyways, not amid the bright lights and noise of a fairground. “What’s a Weevil doing way out there?”
“From what I’ve heard, it likes the Dodgems and the Helter-skelter.”
Ianto snorted. “No, seriously.”
“I was being serious!”
“There’s a Weevil trying out the fairground rides?” Ianto’s eyebrows didn’t quite know how to react to that, jiggling up and down a few times before settling into a worried frown.
“So I’ve been told. We need to round it up before it decides to try out the rollercoaster.”
