“Say cheese!”
Ryo whirled around, grabbing for a towel to cover himself, eyes a bit wild, hair plastered to his head and dripping.
“Ack! Dee, don’t you d…” Too late, the camera flashed, and Ryo’s face turned scarlet. He was stark naked! Was he to have no privacy, even in the bathroom? “I knew buying a camera for your birthday would be a bad idea!”
“But you bought it anyway.” Dee grinned, completely unrepentant. “Relax, babe, I’m just testin’ it out under different conditions, seein’ what it can do. Anyway, don’t know what you’re worried about. It’s digital, so I don’t haveta send a film out for developing.”
“That’s not the point. I don’t want you taking photos of me like this!”
“Like what? Naked? Not like I haven’t already seen everything you got, up close and personal. I like capturin’ this side of you, the natural side, with nothin’ staged. Candid shots.”
“Candid? I just stepped out of the shower; I’m dripping wet!” Ryo was still clutching the towel in one hand. The photograph had already been taken; there seemed little point in covering up now.
“Yep, and you look gorgeous.”
Ryo huffed. “I look like a drowned rat!”
