A/N: I decided I’d try using the weekly Torchwood drabble prompts for FAKE as well. The prompt used here is Caffeine.

“Man, I’m beat!” Dee shoved one hand through his hair, leaving it sticking up and tried to stifle a yawn. “I need more coffee. You want some?”

“I’m not sure even that would keep me awake,” Ryo admitted, slumping across his desk in a most un-Ryo like manner. “The entire precinct is running on coffee fumes; we need to catch a break on this case, before we all keel over from exhaustion.”

“Yeah. Look, why don’t you get your head down for a bit, I’ll wake you in an hour or two.”

There was no response.

Ryo had fallen asleep.

Aww, how cute! Our poor boys really need a break. I love how Dee takes care of Ryo :)
It's amazing how many different drabbles you can write about coffee! I'm not sure if I would have so many ideas for one topic :D

Yeah, Dee likes to take care of his baby =)

When I started writing drabbles 18 months or so ago, if I managed one for a prompt I was happy, sometimes I'd do two. I'm finding it easier to think of ideas as I gain experience, I guess it's just practice - and good prompts, some are more inspiring than others, lol!

I'm re-reading the manga - yet again! A friend of mine started writing FAKE drabbles, so I decided to join her. Two posted so far, four more written....

They're my favourite pairing after Jack/Ianto, but I'm just trying to get to grips with the characters.
