Summary: The Doctor can’t find where he left the TARDIS, but he’s found a fence.

It’s a nice fence, very sturdy, and the Doctor leans against it gratefully. Fences are very useful. They mark boundaries, keep things out, and they keep things in. He’s not sure of this one’s purpose but he likes it anyway. What’s not to like about a good fence? Excellent craftmanship.


Maybe if he climbs to the top of it he’ll be able to get his bearings. The TARDIS can’t be far away. He remembers landing her near some trees. He can’t see any trees, but maybe that’s because there’s a fence in the way.


Stupid place to put a fence.

It's a [perfectly normal fence, probably the boundary to someone's land. The Doctor only has an issue with it when he thinks it's in his way.

I prefer Willie Nelson and Leon Russell's version =)
