A/N: Double drabble.

“I think I’ve offended Ianto,” Jack told Tosh mournfully.

“Not again! What did you do this time?”

It wasn’t that Ianto was easily offended; he wasn’t. In fact he was usually quite tolerant, especially when it came to Jack. It was simply that Jack was so good at opening his mouth and cramming both feet in.

“You didn’t criticise the Welsh rugby team, did you?” Tosh continued. It wouldn’t be the first time, even though Jack hadn’t meant his comments to sound critical. “Or was it the Welsh Male Voice Choir this time? Or that leeks are really nothing more than oversized spring onions. No, wait, you told him instant coffee really isn’t so bad.” Tosh’s guesses were getting more and more outrageous.

Jack pouted. “Nothing like that, and I’ve never said anything bad about Welsh choirs. The Welsh have amazing voices. And instant coffee really is horrible.”

“So what did you say?”

“I don’t know! We had to drive out into the country to collect something that came through the Rift, and it was in a field of sheep, so I asked Ianto to get it because the Welsh are good with sheep. Now he’s not speaking to me.”

The End

Decidedly tactless of Jack, Falling into the stereotype. Luckily for him, Ianto doesn't hold grudges for long. However I see a fulsome apology in the offing.
