BtVS Triple Drabble: Go To Hell
Oct. 6th, 2021 07:18 pmTitle: Go To Hell
Fandom: BtVS
Author:
badly_knitted
Characters: Buffy, The Master.
Rating: PG
Word Count: 300
Spoilers: Prophecy Girl.
Summary: Killing Buffy was the Master’s first mistake.
Written For: Challenge 345: Amnesty at
fan_flashworks, using Challenge 119: Punch.
Disclaimer: I don’t own BtVS, or the characters.
A/N: Triple drabble.
Buffy died, but she’s not dead now. She’s wet and bedraggled, but she’s alive, back one hundred and ten percent in the land of the living It’s a heady feeling, like she’s somehow unstoppable. The Master thinks he’s won, but he’s about to find out just how wrong he is.
It’s almost laughable the way he thinks his old hypnosis tricks are still going to work on her now that she’s been… what? Reborn? Resurrected? Still, she plays along for the moment, because she can, and because it gets her where she wants to be, right up in his ugly face.
It’s even uglier close up.
“You have fruit punch mouth.” It’s an idle observation, unimportant except that Buffy sort of wonders if the stains are from all the blood the Master’s drunk over the centuries. Blood does stain, but it’s unsettling to think of how many people must have lost their lives to this monster, so she doesn’t dwell on it. Fruit punch mouth quickly becomes fist punch mouth, and the Master goes down, hard.
There’s no time to celebrate though; this is just the beginning of the fight, not the end, and the Master is going to pay. For Jesse, for the people Luke killed at the Harvest, for all the nightmares Buffy’s endured in recent months, and for that little matter of him killing her, which she has every right to be miffed about. Look what he’s done to her dress!
It seems that her brief death has done her good. Buffy feels stronger than she ever has before, and this time she’s going to win. She has to; there’s too much at stake for her to fail.
Trading kicks and punches, Buffy manoeuvres the Master right where she wants him, and sends him straight to Hell.

Baddies should not rely on prophecies? Buffy is too good for that.:)

Yeah. They are pretty anxiety inducing as it is, if one doesn't know how to prepare for it.

The sarcasm is most defiantly not lost here. :D
I could seriously quote Buffy all day. Thanks to the internet transcripts as backup. Just in case I misquote.*says with confidence*
