Summary: Dee was supposed to be cleaning up, not making a worse mess.

A/N: Double drabble and a half, 250 words.
Entering their apartment, Ryo almost dropped the bags of groceries he was carrying. Before leaving, he’d asked Dee if he could run the vacuum cleaner over the floors, maybe do a little light dusting, since they were having the guys over later to watch the game. The open-plan living area hadn’t been that much of a mess, and in all probability, Drake, Ted, JJ, and Jim wouldn’t have noticed a bit of dust, but Ryo preferred the place to at least look like they’d made an effort when they were having company.
This, however, even the most unobservant guess couldn’t fail to notice.
“What the hell happened here? I asked you to tidy up a bit, not destroy the place!”
There was dust and fluff everywhere, including, now that Ryo took the time to notice, all over Dee, who was standing forlornly in the middle of the floor.
“I don’t know!” he said plaintively. “I cleaned the guest bathroom, did the dustin’, then got the vacuum cleaner out, and I was halfway done when it started makin’ a weird noise. Before I could turn if off it sort of… exploded.”
Ryo looked at the vacuum cleaner, with its ruptured bag and sighed.
“Not your fault. Can you put the groceries away for me?”
“Why? Where’re ya goin’?”
“Back to the store to buy a new vacuum cleaner. Looks like we’re going to need one.”
“Good thinkin’.” Dee smiled wryly. “Just be sure to get one that sucks instead of blowin’.”
