Owen was at it again, complaining over everything and nothing. Some days, it just got on Ianto’s nerves.


“Don’t you ever stop? You were moaning a bit back that you’d run out of disposable gloves and that I hadn’t made coffee, now you’re moaning the coffee’s too hot and you don’t like the biscuits. Next you’ll be moaning that your coffee’s gone cold. All you do is complain!”


“So what? I can stop any time I want, I just don’t want to.”


“Well, so can I. If you’re not happy with the coffee or the way I make it, get your own. If you don’t like the biscuits, go to the shops and buy some. If you don’t like what I order for lunch, fetch your own. I’ve got better things to do than run around after you. From now on, you can keep track of your own medical supplies and order them, and you can clean the autopsy bay and your equipment yourself. I’m done.”


“You can’t just stop, you’re Torchwood’s GSO!” Owen whined.


“And you’re one member of the team, not the whole of Torchwood. I am NOT your personal slave! From now on, you’re on your own.”

Owen will be so surprised by Ianto's reaction, it'll make him pull his socks up. Ianto is kind, and willi help as needed, but he's nobody's fool. Not even Jack's. though he will allow him a little more leeway.
