Summary: Ianto knows Rhiannon just wants what’s best for him.

A/N: Double drabble.
Ianto knew she was only trying to be a good big sister to him but having coffee with Rhiannon always seemed to turn into something akin to an interrogation. As soon as the waitress had set their drinks and a plate of scones on the table, Rhi got down to business, helping herself to a scone and buttering it while asking,
“So, how is that boyfriend of yours treating you?”
Oh, what a loaded question! Ianto thought fast, deciding he’d probably better not mention the very imaginative and endlessly enjoyable sex he was treated to several times a day. Rhi might take that the wrong way, although Ianto would happily take it any which way, because Jack happened to be extremely talented in that area.
“He took me out to dinner at the Brasserie at the weekend. They do a roast lamb that’s almost as good as Gran’s was.”
“Well, that’s nice. But surely he takes you out more than once a week.”
“Of course, just not usually anywhere quite so fancy.” Most of their outings were work related.
“Not working you too hard, is he? Dating your boss isn’t the best idea.”
Ianto sighed. “Torchwood isn’t nine to five.”
