I'm a bit late with this due to a busy few days, but I wanted to take the time to thank everyone for their birthday messages, emails etc.; far too many to list individually, I'd be here all day and I'm sure you'd much rather I post a drabble instead, lol! So instead I'll just say a big thank you to everyone, you know who you are! All your good wishes made a less than fun day a lot brighter =D

Date: 2014-02-24 04:35 pm (UTC)I've been trying to get some writing done, but what I'm working on for my bingo is like pulling teeth at the moment. It doesn't help that I sent some questions off to the bingo mods two days ago and still no reply. I can't really decide where I'm going with this fic until I know whether I can use 4 parts of one fic for four squares in a row, with something unrelated for the fifth square and whether, if I do two bingo lines that intersect, whether I have to write 2 fics for the intersecting square. o_O
(Yes, I AM trying to work on a second line when I've only done one and three quarter fics for my first line. Mad, aren't I?)

Date: 2014-02-25 03:06 pm (UTC)Just speculation here: If the mods accept it as series of stories, I would think you could use one prompt for each story (and I wouldn't think it would matter if they were interconnected or not as long as you eventually filled all the squares you need to with other stories). If they view it as one story with several chapters, however, it might only count for one prompt (unless you're doing it as an extra, where you're allowed to use multiple prompts in one story.) But you really need a mod to make that call!
HC_Bingo also made it very clear in their rules that if you used a square twice (like in the case of intersecting lines) you had to write two fics for that prompt. But again, it might be different in the case of cc_bingo. *Pokes mods to get them to wake up and reply.*
You might be a bit mad, yes. But we're all mad here. :)

Annoyingly, with all the Bingo writing I'm trying to do, I now have a FAKE plot bunny nipping at my brain. Naturally, the idea doesn't even fit any of my bingo squares so I don't know what I'm going to do. *sigh*

Date: 2014-03-06 03:09 pm (UTC)FAKE is my favoutite Japanese manga, centering around two NY police detectives, Dee & Ryo, who work together as partners. Dee is smitten with Ryo pretty much at first sight (Dee's a lot like Jack, brash and flirty and full of himself), but it takes Ryo 7 volumes to accept that he's gay and loves Dee back. I've always taken the title to mean that Ryo is in complete denial and trying to convince himself that he's not really gay. I love the pairing almost as much as Ianto/Jack. Darn plot bunny doesn't fit any of my bingo prompts though. =(
Yay! Thank you, when I have something to beta I'll be in touch. I'm trying to spread the bingo fics around so it's not the same person lumbered with all of them.
