Summary: Bikky is growing up so fast he’s almost as tall as Ryo now.

A/N: Double drabble.
Bikky was a veritable whirlwind, charging out of his room, all done up for his date with Carol. “I’m heading out now, see you later!”
Ryo, on the sofa with Dee, watching TV, glanced up and smiled. “Okay. Have you got enough money, and your phone?
“Yes, dad, don’t fuss.”
“Call me if you need a ride home, okay?”
“Won’t need to; Carol’s borrowing her aunt’s car, and no, we won’t drink and drive, I promise.”
“Good to know. Have fun, and don’t be home too late.”
Straightening up from putting his shoes on, Bikky threw a mildly exasperated look his foster father’s way. “It’s Friday night; no school tomorrow, remember?”
“You’re still seventeen, Biks. I want you back by midnight.”
“Or I’ll turn into a pumpkin, I know.” Bikky grinned, reaching for a jacket and putting it on. “If the perv gets fresh with you, kick him in the shins.”
“Bikky!”
“Just joking. Bye!”
With that, he was out the door, slamming it behind him.
Dee frowned. “Wasn’t that your jacket he had on?”
“Used to be, but apparently not anymore.” Ryo sighed. “He’s grown so much we’re practically the same size.”
“Better put a padlock on your wardrobe.”
