Summary: Something is lurking in the Hub.

Something was lurking in the Hub.
It lurked in the shadows under the stairs, barely visible but Ianto knew it was there.
Later, he half saw it lurking behind a kitchen cupboard, almost but not quite hidden.
Jack spotted it lurking beneath his office shelves. Unable to concentrate on his paperwork, he went to bother Ianto in the archives.
It lurked under Tosh’s desk and startled Gwen into dropping the file she was reading.
And when they were eating lunch, there it was lurking under the sofa.
“Why’s Dizzy doing that?” asked Jack.
Ianto smirked.
“It’s hoping for cookie crumbs.”

Date: 2014-02-06 04:24 pm (UTC)Thanks to my f-list I have a bunch of prompts to work with, but there's also the Last of the Summer Wine episode titles from last year - there were loads I wanted to use but didn't get around to, so I'm looking at those right now, and the Billboard Hot 100 song titles, getting some inspiration from those too. I'm trying to write at least two drabbles a day so I can get as many written ahead of time as possible. I think I have about 70 in hand at the moment, I've posted 32, so I need about another 150 in order to reach 250 for posting this year, and a few more if I want to reach 500 drabbles written in total. I also have bingo fics to write (I need ideas for some of my prompts) and I have some WiP one-shots I need to finish. I'm hoping next week will be less busy, it was mum's birtday yesterday so the beginning of the week was tied up with getting things wrapped and a card made. It's all go! LOL!

Hmm.. What to choose... I think a nice dose of humour and silliness is called for - Janto centric, but featuring the whole team if possible. Can you manage that? If not I'll happily read anything! :-)

Date: 2014-02-06 12:59 pm (UTC)Nosy is too big to lurk effectively, it can't really hide, but Dizzy is still small enough that it can fit under or behind anything. Though it's on a diet due to eating too many cookies, hence its lurking in the hope of getting some crumbs.
