Hello everyone, it's Fic of the Week time again! Last week's offering wasn't such a success, what with it being taken down before most people even got a chance to start reading, never mind finish, so let's hope for better luck this week.

Crossed Wires by [livejournal.com profile] stopwatch_plz is a little 7-parter from April 2008. It's also a crossover with Doctor Who.

Summary: My second attempt at a team!fic. As usual, it’s gonna have random Janto-ness in. No specific set time, just somewhere towards the end of series two, post-Reset/Day in the Death but before Fragments et al.

The chapters are quite short, which is good for me because I've fallen behind in my other reading o_O

Part 1 is here   - all parts are linked.

Short but sweet post, because I have a lot to do today and I'm being hampered by a migraine.

Happy reading, everybody!

I know your pain; my mother had them, I've had them and could tell the difference in them and my son has them. Mine were influenced a lot by allergy, my repro problems and diet; I could control a lot of problems by keeping a close watch on how much salt and sugar I had (endometriosis and dysmenorrhea). I just hope you recover quickly.

They probably are hormonal but let me warn you; menopause has its own set of problems i.e., 'personal summers (hot flashes)'! I have fun with mine: I did go thru testing and was offered medication for them which I refused; we Native women have different herbal things we can use for dealing with them and I look at mine as a 'friend'.

Hot flashes can give rise to all sorts of fun and caffeine triggers mine, which I will do deliberately. My jokes about them are they give new meaning to "hot pants" (which scares the hell out of my ex!); kinky 'body heat', "roasting chestnuts over an 'open' fire" (heh heh heh!!!); 'hot mamas'; sometimes when he gets on my nerves, I like to scare my son by drinking a bottle of Mountain Dew (that triggers one hell of a hot flash!) and he'll yell at me to turn down the heat! In weather like this, my hot flashes are my best friend. Stand on 34th Street waiting for the bus in the cold; drink a bottle of Mountain Dew and make 40 friends instantly :D.

You'll be fine; I have faith and I will always wish you the best. Just take care of yourself.
