Summary: William and his friends are invited to visit the Hub.

A/N: Double drabble.




William and his friends stared around themselves in wonder and amazement, still scarcely able to believe they were here, inside Torchwood’s secret base of operations.


“Wow!” William figured if he sounded a bit breathless that was only to be expected. The place was huge, a whole complex beneath the Plas that most of Cardiff didn’t even know existed.


“Pretty impressive, isn’t it?” Captain Harkness was grinning at them. “Didn’t used to look like this; before it got blown up and left a massive crater in the Plas, it was all bare concrete and metal catwalks; had a lot of character but it wasn’t exactly cheery. Ianto likes this better, which he should. He helped with the redesign.”


There was a slithering sound against the hardwearing tiled floor and Nosy appeared, humming an enthusiastic greeting. Crouching down, William greeted the alien, hugging it and ruffling the thick green fur.


“I wish we were already working here,” he admitted. “But I guess we should at least finish school first.” That would be almost another two years for most of them, and even longer for Jon, what with him being the youngest.


“The time will pass quicker than you think.”


“I hope so.”

How great to see William and co at Torchwood. They'll be valuable additions in time, and might perhaps start very basic training now. Jack and Ianto will keep them out of danger of course. Hope there are more stories planned on this seies

Yes, they'll be helping Torchwood in an unofficial capacity. keeping an eye on things, and will, I'm sure, receive some training.

I do have one fic I'm working on, and I'm sure there will be others.
