A/N: Double drabble and a half, 250 words.

Being in a car driven by Buffy is an experience Willow doesn’t think she wants to repeat. Ever. There’s a good reason she wasn’t allowed to take the road test, or several good reasons, mostly having to do with Buffy’s concentration, or lack thereof.

She can never seem to remember that she has to keep her eyes on the road for one thing, and she expects other drivers to get out of her way, which most of them do very quickly, in the spirit of self-preservation. Willow can’t say she blames them, even if they’re technically on the correct side of the road and Buffy… isn’t.

Still, Slayers have excellent reflexes, and Buffy manages to avoid disaster. It’s sort of ironic that the accident, when it does finally happen, isn’t even her fault. For once she’s paying attention to where she’s going, but the driver of the jeep at the intersection isn’t. Willow catches a brief glimpse of the man behind the wheel; too busy with unwrapping a chocolate bar to notice the red light he just barrels right on through, slamming into the rear door of Buffy’s mom’s car and spinning it partway around.

Again, it’s probably Buffy’s reflexes that prevent the accident from being worse than it is, and nobody’s hurt, just shaken up, but still… Walking is starting to seem preferable.

As for what Buffy’s mom will say when she sees the damage, Willow doubts Buffy will be driving again anytime soon. Maybe that’s a good thing.

This one's hilarious, very well-done, and downright brilliant quality work you have here.

Did Buffy end up becoming a licensed driver?

I don't think she did in the story at that, folks.

I can only recall Giles or Xander driving the most. The latter risked double parking when Joyce had just passed away.

I agree, yes she did.

Oh yes! If it wasn't taking Buffy home, no questions ask. It was being the getaway driver of sorts. She even drove her car through the school doors to get to the library.

I suppose this was before Cordelia's father was charged with tax evasion. So she could still afford to cover the damage.

I remember Cordelia lost Angels car in the spinoff momentarily.

Yeah. That's why she got a job. Moving to L.A...

That sounds like a sentence you'd read on a movie poster.

Maybe so, and then Willow's remark to Anya about her not knowing how to drive was simply hilarious.
