Summary: Dee and Ryo join the crowds in Times Square for the count down to the New Year.

A/N: This one’s a drabble and a half, 150 words.
The New Year festivities were in full swing, and for once neither man was working, which meant they could join the throngs of people packing Times Square, counting down the seconds to midnight, instead of having to sneak away to their office for a surreptitious celebratory kiss.
Ten… Nine… Eight…
Ryo and Dee turned to each other, shifting scarves out of the way. It was cold enough out to require being well wrapped up, even in the middle of the huge crowd.
Seven… Six… Five…
Dee took Ryo’s hand and pulled him close.
Four… Three… Two…
The chanting of the crowds grew louder with each number.
One…
Happy New Year!
Thousands of voices roared out the words in unison as the old year gave way to the new, but Ryo hardly heard them. Arms around his lover as they kissed, they could have been the only two people on earth.
