Summary: Ryo is pretty good when it comes to mending clothes.

A/N: Double drabble.
“I’m really sorry, Ryo, I didn’t mean to tear it! I got the button caught on something and it just…” Bikky trailed off helplessly, holding out his shirt; it was one of his favourites, mostly because Carol always said it looked good on him.
Ryo examined the damage. “Doesn’t look too bad, I should be able to mend it. I’ll see what I can do after dinner.”
“Thanks, Ryo, you’re the best!”
There were a lot of things Ryo had never had much of a talent for, DIY and home repairs among them, but thanks to his mom he was pretty good with a needle and thread, good enough that he could sew on loose buttons, turn up the legs on a pair of jeans, and handle minor clothing repairs. It was a good thing too with a young boy to care for. Kids weren’t as careful with clothing as adults were.
While he had his sewing kit out after dinner he should probably do something about the pulled seam on his Jacket. Police work was almost as hard on clothing as kids.
Still, rather a damaged seam than a bullet hole; some things were beyond his ability to mend.
