Summary: Willow and her two best friends are so busy pining over each other they’re missing out.

A/N: Drabble and a half, 150 words.
Willow had spent half her childhood and all of her teenage years so far pining over Xander, and for what? He saw her as his best friend, study buddy, one of the guys, but never as a girl. not in the dating and falling in love sort of way.
Xander in turn had spent every day since her arrival in Sunnydale pining over Buffy, giving her the same longing looks that Willow directed his way, with the same results. Buffy didn’t appear to notice his interest any more than Xander noticed Willow’s.
Buffy wanted Angel, Xander wanted Buffy, Willow wanted Xander, and here they all were just stuck, marking time, waiting for the object of their desires to notice them and do something. Only that never happened.
Maybe they should all try looking elsewhere. There were plenty more fish in the sea; how hard could it be to land one?
