Summary: Dee is a tough guy but Ryo is much more emotional.

A/N: Double drabble.
When he was a kid, it had bothered Ryo that he cried so easily. He’d been picked on, called a sissy, but his parents had assured him there was nothing wrong with being in touch with his emotions and as he’d gotten older he’d mostly accepted that side of himself.
Dee was a tough guy, not the type to cry over much of anything, no matter how much it hurt, or at least not in public. Shut away behind his apartment door with nobody there to see was another matter, but even then the tears he shed were few and far between.
In a way, he envied his partner. Ryo was never embarrassed or ashamed to shed a tear. He cried when he was happy, when he watched a sad movie, or when he heard beautiful music. He cried if he was upset about something, which happened a lot; there was so much tragedy in the world and as police officers they saw such terrible things in the course of their work.
The life of a Detective in Serious Crimes was never going to be all hugs and puppies, but Dee was always willing to kiss his lover’s tears away.
