“Jack, stop it!” Ianto batted his lover’s hand away.


“Stop what?” Jack was all innocence.


“Don’t give me that; you know what! I’ve got a ton of work to do and the last thing I need is you trying to distract me!”


“Trying?” Jack gave a wicked smirk. “I thought I was succeeding.”


“This isn’t some kind of game!” Ianto was really becoming annoyed now, dodging Jack’s groping hands.


“Of course it is. I want to play, you play hard to get, but we both know I’ll win in the end.”


Ianto caught Jack a stinging slap across the back of his hand. “Not now! I mean it, Jack; if I don’t get this finished today you can forget about ‘playing’ for the foreseeable future! No means no, it’s not a invitation to try and change my mind!”


“Since when?”


“Since forever! If you weren’t my boss I’d report you for sexual harassment.”


“But I’m your boyfriend!”


“Therein lies my problem.”


“You really mean ‘no’?”


“I really mean it.”


Jack wilted.


“I’m sorry. Don’t be mad.”


“Honestly, I sometimes wonder why I put up with you!”


“Because I’m like a cream cake; naughty but nice.”


Ianto couldn’t argue with that!

Well Jack does take no for an answer when he finally accepts that Ianto really means it. However he likes to tease him gently into changing his mind. Ianto is happy to play along ,knowing Jack will never force him.

He'll play along some of the time, but when he says No he means it. Jack just isn't used to being turned down flat, but sometimes Ianto really does have to get work done, even if he'd prefer to play with Jack.
