Buffy knows she’s in trouble when her mom comes out of Principal Snyder’s office wearing her Not Happy face and tells her to get in the car. Now.

Knowing Snyder, he’s painted the blackest picture of Buffy and her behaviour possible, exaggerating the tiniest little infraction of the school rules into cause for immediate expulsion. He’s a mean little man who lives to make everyone else as miserable as he is, and he’s doing a pretty good job of it right now. Misery, thy name is Buffy. So much for not disappointing her mom. Again.

Feeling like she’s walking to her doom, all Buffy can do is follow her mother, wondering how she’s going to explain and avoid getting grounded for life; then the windows explode inwards and oh look, it’s Spike and a few of his friends, all in vamp face! Buffy never imagined there’d ever be a time she’d be happy to see him, but if it’s going to delay the talk with her mom, she’ll happily go a round or three with him. She could do with taking her frustration and annoyance out on someone and Spike fits the bill perfectly. How she’ll explain this to her mother is a problem for later. Maybe she can convince her the vamps were just a gang on drugs, wearing masks to scare everybody.

Right, scary vamp masks; that’ll work. Maybe. At least with the lights out her mom didn’t get a clear look, which is probably a blessing in disguise.

If she gets out of here in one piece she knows she’ll still be in a world of trouble, this is nothing but a brief respite, the storm before the worse storm, but that’s okay.

For now, she’ll settle for getting as many people out alive as she can.

The End

It's a shame that Synder never changed his bad attitude.

I remember he was on Charmed. I thought he was being stereotyped.*shrugs*

Unfortunately Synder got killed off like the Principal before him.

I still traumatised by how Principal Flutie was killed off.*shivers*

I see. He just looks like he has a chip on his shoulder.*kidding*

I can't judge, since I know what it's like for people to assume things about me.*shrugs*

I know. They even changed the actor who played Flutie from the pilot. Regardless, it was just tragic that he died that way. It was Snyder's own self-righteousness that was his undoing. He was ranting till the very end. The logical thing would have been to run away at the very lease.*shakes head*

Maybe I should see Armin Shimerman in an interview. He appeared on an episode of Leverage where his character was caught in a lie on the witness stand. I always think of him as Synder.*shrugs*

Yeah. I see what you mean. I didn't like how he was just killed off. No character growth.*sighs*

I shall! :)
