Summary: Bikky is getting his first taste of fame.

A/N: Double drabble.
“How does it feel to be a champion?” Ryo asked, settling onto the sofa beside his son. The night before, Bikky’s high school team had won the state championship, and he’d been named MVP.
Bikky considered the question carefully. “It’s good, I think, but kinda weird, maybe even a little scary. I mean, I don’t really feel any different, but the other kids are treating me like I am. Everyone suddenly wants to be my friend, several people have asked for my autograph, and it seems like every girl in school wants to go out with me. I have to keep telling them I’m already taken; I don’t want Carol hearing about it and getting jealous.”
Ryo smiled at the boy, although perhaps ‘boy’ was the wrong word these days. Bikky had grown so much in the last couple of years; he was almost as tall as Ryo already and would probably get quite a bit taller before he finally stopped growing, which was no bad thing for a budding basketball star.
“Perhaps it’s a good thing you’re getting a taste of fame early; you’ll know what to expect if you make it all the way to the big leagues.”
