Happy New Year and welcome to the first Fic of the Week post for 2014! Hope you all had a great time over Christmas (or whatever you celebrate) and an enjoyable New Year.

hel_bee's trilogy. Originally posted between June and September of 2008, this one's a 10-parter, again set after Exit Wounds and with some spoilers for Doctor Who: Last of the Time Lords and The Shakespeare Code.
Summary: With mythical beasts turning up all over Scotland, Torchwood Two thought they were in charge; however, so did Torchwood Four. Unfortunately for both parties their main suspect was refusing to talk to anyone other than Torchwood Three’s Ianto Jones.
Here's what the author says: Set after my stories Lynchpin and Constant. Okay folks... time to investigate the other side of Ianto’s family tree! This one is lighter in tone to Constant – time to have a bit of fun!
There's a summary of the first two parts of the trilogy at the beginning of part 1 for anyone who needs to remind themselves of what's happened so far. If your memory is as bad as mine, then that's really handy!
