A/N: Double drabble.
Ryo and Dee were glued to the TV screen; after weeks of watching and waiting, the big moment had finally arrived.
The show’s host smiled into the camera.
“And the winner is…” He paused, drawing out the drama and anticipation, stretching it to breaking point as the seconds ticked past.
“Dammit! I really hate this part. Why can’t he just tell us already?”
Ryo chuckled at his partner’s impatience.
Finally the winner was announced.
“Yes! Told ya he’d win. He’s got that sexy hip action goin’ on.”
Dee stood up to demonstrate, swivelling his hips in an extremely eye-catching manner. Ryo sat back, enjoying the show.
“You’re pretty good yourself.”
“Yeah? D’you think I could get on ‘Dancin’ With the Stars’?”
Ever since Ryo had first persuaded him to watch the show Dee had been hooked.
“You’re not a star, Dee.”
“Right. Damn!” Dee spun around. “Foiled again.” He flopped back onto the sofa beside his lover. “It would be so cool bein’ able to move like that.”
“So what’s stopping you? Take lessons; there’s bound to be classes available.”
“That’s an idea. But only if…” He trailed off, looking at Ryo.
“What?”
“You sign up too.”
“It’s a deal.”
