Summary: Nosy is tired after a very disturbed night.

A/N: Double drabble.




When the alarm clock went off, Nosy the Fluff reluctantly roused itself, poking its head out from under the covers and hitting the snooze button before snuggling back down for a few more precious minutes. Last night the Rift alert had gone off no less than four times, and each time Nosy had dutifully slithered out of bed to help however it could; having to get up was not an appealing thought.


The alarm buzzed again and with a heavy sigh, Nosy reached for the snooze button a second time. Just ten more minutes!


It was alright for Owen who’d been on night duty; he’d gone home more than an hour ago after the last alert and wouldn’t have to be back until the following day, but Nosy had work to do.


Ianto appeared in the doorway. “Not up yet?”


“Hummmm,” Nosy muttered wearily from under the covers.


“Owen said it was a busy night.”


“Hmm.”


“Why don’t you have a lie in this morning?”


“Hum?”


“You work too hard. Everyone else gets time off so you should too. Take the whole day if you want.” Ianto turned the alarm clock off and tucked the covers around Nosy. “Sweet dreams.”

Nosy is usually eager to get on with its day, so Ianto knew it must be tired. Now Nosy knows it can take time off when it needs to.
