Summary: Drake finds he’s a bit out of the loop on certain things.

A/N: Double drabble.
Drake sighed gloomily; how come he was always the last to find anything out? ‘Some detective I am!’
When JJ had confessed he’d given up hope of Dee ever returning his feelings because he suspected the man of his dreams had finally won Ryo, Drake had thought he and JJ must be the only ones who knew. After all, if anyone else had figured out their friends were in a relationship they wouldn’t have kept such a juicy bit of gossip to themselves, right?
Wrong.
He’d spoken to Ted first. “JJ thinks Dee and Ryo are together; d’you think he’s right? I can never read those two.”
Ted had immediately turned red and started laughing.
“What?”
“Oh, they’re together alright. I caught them in the file room a few months back, and let’s just say they weren’t filing.”
“And you didn’t tell me?”
Ted shrugged. “Didn’t seem like they wanted everyone to know.”
“Gee, thanks for the heads-up!”
So then Drake talked to Jim in the basement.
“Man, you’re slow to catch on! Those two have be together well over a year.”
Dammit, even the lab guy knew more than Drake!
Maybe it was time he thought about changing career.
