Summary: Something very alien has come through the Rift.

A/N: Double drabble.
It looked so delicate Ianto had no idea how it had avoided damage as it was dragged though the Rift and deposited on the grass between the Gorsedd Stones. Anything that fragile usually arrived in fragments, broken beyond hope of repair, but this one looked to be intact.
The mystery object was bowl-shaped, in a lacy filigree design; the material it was made of seemed to be a mixture of crystal and a silvery blue metal. His scanner was picking up traces of platinum and titanium, along with substances he couldn’t even begin to identify.
From the bowl’s rim trailed long, flexible threads, filaments hardly thicker than strands of spider silk, and strung with crystalline beads in an endless variety of shapes and sizes. It was rather beautiful, especially refracting the early morning sunlight as it was, scattering sparks of rainbow light across everything. Perhaps it was an ornament of some kind, maybe even a sort of alien wind chime. He had no idea how to transport it back to the Hub without causing damage. The slightest touch would probably shatter it.
It stirred, rising into the air, alive, hanging there like an airborne jellyfish.
Okay, he hadn’t expected that!
