Summary: There are many wonderful cultural events to enjoy on other worlds.

Travelling from world to world, and to any time period he chose, meant the Doctor got to see all the great events in the universe as they happened, and there was certainly no shortage of historic moments, but sometimes it was nice to just enjoy something less dramatic, take in a few cultural events, admire the artistry and craftsmanship of various peoples.


That was why he was travelling to Bindlesneeth for the Sugar Lump Festival, where magnificent sculptures were crafted from sugar cubes.


It only happened every ten years or so, but it was a spectacle not to be missed!

Yeah. He remind me of when I was a kid. At least when it came to getting a sugar rush. :D

I haven't had them in years. I can't handle eating alot of cake these days.

It's a strange feeling not knowing if cake decorations are edible or for display only.:)

It's more practical to serve cake I've made to others. The last I did that was at TAFE. It's been a while.

Before that cooking or baking was what got me through my dark days. Besides chatting on LJ.

I've never enjoyed any kind of cooking. I prefer writing, gardening, and crafts. That's what's got me through the difficult times.

Well almost any task that I can achieve at my own pace, is what I find relaxing. No pressure is the key.:)
