A/N: Double drabble.
‘All the fish in the sea to choose from and I had to go and fall for him,’ Dee thought gloomily. ‘Gotta be outta my ever-lovin’ mind!’
Ryo Maclean was certainly gorgeous enough to meet Dee’s notoriously high standards, that wasn’t the problem, it was just that the delectable detective kept shooting down all Dee’s advances, insisting he was straight. What was a red-blooded bisexual guy to do?
Looking elsewhere for some loving wasn’t an option. Dee was already in way too deep to go seeking greener pastures elsewhere. Ryo was the one and only, the ideal partner he hadn’t even known he was looking for until the Chief had practically dumped him in Dee’s lap. Now just knowing he was going to see the man of his dreams made Dee’s heart beat faster, excitement and anticipation filling him. He’d never been so eager to get to work.
‘I’m so screwed, and not in the way I wanna be; hopelessly head-over-heels for the guy. The more he pushes me away the more I want him. Damn, I’m turnin’ into JJ, love-struck and completely obsessed! What am I gonna do?’
There’s only one thing he can do. ‘Just gotta keep tryin’.’
