A/N: Double drabble.




Nosy had a problem; the little trolley it used to transport things around the Hub had stopped working. Everything had been fine that morning, but just after coffee break, when Nosy was collecting completed paperwork for Ianto to file down in the archives, as it had pushed its trolley across one of the metal gratings, a bit had fallen off, the rest had tipped sideways, and now it wouldn’t move at all. It was all very inconvenient.


There was only one solution Nosy could think of: fetch Ianto. All its friends did that whenever something didn’t work right.


Leaving the trolley where it was, Nosy slithered into the kitchen where Ianto was washing the coffee cups. It prodded Ianto’s leg with its snout.


“HUMM?”


“Hello, Nosy. What’s up?”


Slithering a little way away, Nosy looked back at its friend with another hum.


“Right, just let me…” Ianto reached for the kitchen towel, quickly drying his hands before following the Fluff out into the main Hub. Nosy stopped by its trolley.


“Hum?”


“Ah, the wheel’s come off. Don’t worry, I’ll get my tools.”


Five minutes later the trolley was fine again.


Nosy wished it was able to mend stuff so easily.

At least it had the intelligence to know what to do, fetch Ianto, who values Nosy's help so much he is pleased to fix the problem
