Summary: Something’s killing the Sunnydale High swim team.

Something fishy was going on at Sunnydale High; two members of the swim team had already met their end at the hands, or flippers of some kind of fish monster; if that continued, they’d have no chance in the State Championships, which would be bad. Right? Well, Snyder thought so.


Which meant Buffy was going fishing; what choice did she have? Someone had to track down the slimy fish monster making a meal of the school’s finest athletes, preferably before Xander became the next course.


Some days slaying was just so much fun Buffy could hardly bear it.

Buffy: Great. This is just what my reputation needs: that I did it with the entire swim team.

I was about 14/15 years old when I first watch this episode. It really irked me that Buffy had just been threaten with a possible sexual assault. But I guess this line was put in, to gloss over it.

I didn't mean to be so serious. It's just part of my long term memory. Along with how the girl's react to how "hot" Xander looks in he's swimmer's.:D

I think Buffy often used sarcasm as a kind of defence mechanism. I was in my 30s I think when the show first came on TV here.

It's a shame Nick Brendan ended up having so many mental health problems. He's so talented. I liked him in Criminal Minds too.

Yes. I was channel surfing one day and came across The Dr Phil Show. I was surprised to see him on it. I hope he get's the help necessary to fully recover.
