Summary: JJ has never heard anything so awful, what can it be?

A/N: Double drabble.
The horrendous wailing sound that assaulted JJ’s ears when he entered the apartment chilled him to the bone. What in the world could make such an awful noise? An unsettling thought crossed his mind; maybe it was a banshee; Ted had been spinning yarns about the mythical Irish spirit just the other day…
No. JJ firmly dismissed that notion; banshees weren’t real. Maybe a cat had somehow gotten in and become trapped. There was a Siamese in the building and he’d heard they could be a bit raucous. Then again, this was the penthouse; how would a cat have gotten up this high? It wasn’t like it could climb up from a lower balcony and if it had gotten out of its owner’s apartment into the elevator surely someone would’ve noticed.
Another disquieting though occurred to JJ; Drake was home today, maybe he’d fallen and hurt himself!
“What am I standing here for?” JJ followed the sound to the bathroom, throwing the door open. “Drakey!”
The noise cut off. “Oh, hey JJ, I didn’t hear you come in, sorry. I was singing.”
“That was singing? I thought you were being murdered!”
“There’s a reason I never sing on karaoke night.”
