A/N: Double drabble.
Watching Dee effortlessly replacing the broken latch on the bathroom door, Ryo couldn’t help but sigh. He’d been forced to almost break down the door after the lock had jammed with Bikky trapped inside, proving he was perfectly capable of destroying things but didn’t have a clue how to fix them once they were broken.
Dee, on the other hand, seemed to have a knack for home repairs, everything from stopping leaks and re-wiring anything electrical to plastering walls and hanging doors. Door latches were just another skill in his repertoire.
“There, all done,” Dee said, straightening up. “You won’t have any more trouble with that.”
“Thanks, Dee. Sorry to drag you out for something so stupid.”
“It’s fine, I don’t mind. You know I’m always willin’ to help.”
“I know; I just feel so useless. I should be able to do this stuff myself.”
“But if you could, then you wouldn’t need me,” Dee pointed out. “And I kinda like bein’ needed.” He moved closer, resting his hands on his lover’s hips. “Besides, we can’t all be good at everything. You do the cookin’ and I handle the home repairs; seems to me that’s a fair division of labour.”
