This wasn’t how Jack had thought parenthood would be.


“If you tidy your bedroom and put your toys away neatly, I’ll give you a chocolate chip cookie,” he promised.


Three-year-old Meriel looked thoughtful as she considered the offer. She looked at Nosy, then back at her daddy, frowning and shaking her head.


“No, two cookies, Daddy,” she insisted stubbornly.


“Jack, are you trying to bribe our daughter?” Ianto leant against the doorjamb, watching.


“It’s not bribery,” Jack replied. “We’re in the middle of delicate negotiations.”


Ianto sighed. “Meriel, go put your toys away. Now, young lady.”


“Yes, Taddy.” Meriel went.

Yes even a child knows it's better to obey Ianto. Jack tries his best but has a lot to learn. Ianto has had practice with Rhi's kids
