A/N: Double drabble.
Ianto gave the tall glass of clear blue liquid a dubious look. “What is it?”
“Sort of a non-alcoholic wine, made from flower petals.” Jack gestured out across the fields of blue flowers stretching as far as the eye could see, nodding in the gentle breeze. He looked back at his lover, holding the glass out again. “Try it. I guarantee you’ll like it.”
Ianto hesitantly accepted the glass. “You’re sure it’s safe for human consumption?”
“Of course! You don’t think I’d give you anything poisonous, do you?”
“I suppose not.” Ianto cautiously sniffed at the drink; it smelled a bit like lavender with a hint of vanilla, a bit strange but not unpleasant. He glanced at Jack, who was already sipping from his own glass, eyes half-closed and a blissful smile on his face.
Jack sighed happily. “I’ve missed this. So much better than all those sugar and additive filled soft drinks back on earth.”
“I thought you liked sugary drinks. You used to drink enough of them.”
“They were good for a quick energy boost when I needed it. Are you drinking that or not?”
Bracing himself, Ianto sipped. It tasted like he’d died and gone to heaven!
