A/N: Double drabble.

“I’m just so tired of this,” Carol sighed, one hand pressed against the small of her back as she waddled her way into the house and made a beeline for her current favourite chair, the only one she could get into or out of relatively easily without assistance.

Bikky was torn; he hated that Carol was so uncomfortable, but at the same time he thought she looked radiant. She was just over eight months gone with their first child and last night she’d woken him at three-thirty worried because she’d had a nightmare in which she’d given birth to a whale.

“I know you’re having a tough time, but it’s gonna be worth it in the end, right?” Bikky looked at his wife, worried. “I mean it’s a bit late to be having second thoughts.”

“I’m not having second thoughts, silly, I want our baby, I just wish it would get here already. I swear if I get much fatter I’m going to burst.” She smiled wryly. “This is what I get for falling in love with a giant. And before you start worrying again, I don’t regret that either.”

“That’s a relief.”

“Our baby is going to be beautiful.”
