Summary: Part of being on vacation is sending postcards to the folks back home.

A/N: Triple drabble.
Amused, Dee watched his lover flicking through the postcards on the revolving rack, plucking out one after another to add to the bunch he was already holding. “How many of those you gonna buy?”
“I need enough to send to everyone back home,” Ryo said distractedly. “And a few to keep. I thought I might make them into a sort of collage for the wall in our home office. It needs something to brighten it up since it doesn’t have a window.”
“Yeah, that sounds like a cool idea, buy you do know you don’t need to send a card each to every single person we know, right? I mean three’s enough; just send one to the guys at work, one to Carol and the house ape, and one to Mother.”
“Dee!” Ryo frowned his disapproval at his partner. “What about Melinda? And then there’s my aunt and uncle, and I have to send one to Diana, and Janet and the girls on the desk, and one for the Chief…”
“You’re gonna send the old badger a postcard?” Dee asked incredulously.
“Why not? He’s a friend. Besides, everybody likes to get mail. It’s all emails and texts these days; a postcard is much more personal. You should send a card to Mother yourself, and one to the kids.”
Dee knew when he was beaten. “Fine, if sendin’ a bunch of postcards makes ya happy… How about this one for Mother?” He plucked one out himself, a picturesque view of a Cornish village. “Isn’t this where we had lunch yesterday?”
“I’m sure she’d like that one. How about one of these for the kids?” He showed Dee several postcards with pictures of the wild ponies on Exmoor.
“Sure,” Dee agreed. He’d learned that sometimes it was best to give in gracefully.
