Title: A Good Day
Fandom: FAKE
Author:
badly_knitted
Characters: Dee, Ryo.
Rating: PG
Written For: Challenge 72: Against All Odds at drabblesoup.
Spoilers/Setting: Vol. 4, Act 11.
Summary: Aside from his injury, it’s been a pretty good day for Dee.
Disclaimer: I don’t own FAKE, or the characters. They belong to the wonderful Sanami Matoh.
Despite being laid up in hospital having been shot through the leg, Dee was feeling pretty good about recent events. For one thing, he’d beaten the odds. Fifteen bombs had been scattered throughout the school; he’d only been able to disarm the one in the room with him, leaving the other fourteen to detonate right on schedule and reduce most of the building to rubble, but here he was, alive and mostly in one piece.
Better yet, Ryo had finally let Dee see exactly how deeply he cared about him. What was a hole in his leg compared to that?

Date: 2019-09-16 10:25 am (UTC)Ryo tends to be more of a pragmatist, he sees the downsides but I don't think he's really pessimistic, just realistic.
Thank you!
