Summary: It’s Ianto’s birthday and Meriel has a preset for her Taddy.

A/N: Double drabble. A day late, but a little celebration for Ianto’s birthday.
“Happy Birthday, Taddy!” Meriel shouted, bursting into the bedroom and scrambling onto the bed.
Ianto gave a pained “Oof” as his daughter landed on top of him. Even though the four-year-old was small and dainty she could still make quite an impact.
Slithering across him to land in the empty space recently vacated by Jack, Meriel shoved a messily wrapped bundle at her Taddy. “I got you a special present. I made it myself! Sorry it’s not very well wrapped. Nosy wanted to help.”
“Hum,” Nosy agreed, sounding a bit muffled. The Fluff had followed Meriel into the room, but had sensibly decided to take refuge under the bed, where it was probably safer.
“Whatever can this be?” Ianto accepted the gift, untying the hair ribbon that was holding the crumpled paper in place and unwrapping it.
Inside was something green and furry. Ianto picked it up; it looked like a piece of fur fabric, rolled into a sausage shape and glued, with buttons stuck on for eyes.
“It’s a Fluff doll,” Meriel explained. “You can take it with you wherever you go and it’ll be almost like having Nosy with you.”
Ianto smiled. “Thank you, sweetheart. I love it.”
