Summary: Cardiff has a bit of a slippery problem.

It was the height of summer, temperatures were in the mid-eighties; the last thing anyone could have anticipated encountering was ice. Nevertheless, on Roald Dahl Plas, pedestrians were sliding and skidding around as though they were first-time skaters at the local rink.


Something appeared to have rendered the paved surface almost frictionless.


“We’d better find whatever’s causing this and stop it before someone gets seriously hurt,” Jack said, striding towards the cog door, the rest of the team following, scanners at the ready.


Ianto brought up the rear, carrying a toboggan. Might as well use the slipperiness to his advantage.

Practical Ianto is practical. What's the betting all the team will want a go in the toboggan? They will remember to solve the problem of course.

Ianto doesn't want to be at a disadvantage, the soles of his dress shoes would have less grip than most so he's taking the practical approach as usual.

The others should have brought their own toboggans, he's not sharing, except maybe with Tosh because she's only little.
