Back when Ianto had been growing up, he’d had a major crush on Morwen Granger, a girl who’d been in his year at school. An elegant, willowy blonde with a very well developed figure, she’d been all he could think about for moths until he’d finally got up the nerve to ask her out.


She’d laughed in his face, telling him she wouldn’t be seen dead with a common council estate boy; he was beneath her.


The sixteen-year-old Ianto had been mortified and had avoided her as much as possible after that.


Now here he was at his school reunion, twenty-six and dressed in an expensive hand-tailored three-piece, looking every inch the successful young executive, and there was Morwen, lovely as ever…


Naturally she spotted him right away and made a beeline for him. Why wouldn’t she? It was only natural for her to target the best-dressed man in the room; she’d always been drawn to wealth and power.


“Ianto Jones! Why, I scarcely recognised you! You’ve certainly done well for yourself.” She looked him up and down appreciatively.


“Lovely to see you, Morwen. Let you introduce you to Jack Harkness, my husband.”


The look on Morwen’s face was priceless!
