Summary: Jack is sure he can bring Tosh out of her shell.

Tosh was quiet on the drive back to Cardiff, sitting hunched in the passenger seat, only speaking to answer Jack’s questions. It wasn’t surprising; the file from her former employers noted that she was reserved, mostly keeping to herself. The time she’d spent in the UNIT prison had only driven her deeper inside her shell.


But talking to her earlier, offering her a way out, a chance at a life outside the cold stone walls of her cell, Jack had seen a spark and he intended to nurture it. In time he was positive he’d draw out her full potential.
