He was very beautiful indeed, and the fur just behind his ears was so soft, I stroked him there a lot but most of all he liked to be stroked from the brown spot on his nose up to his ears. He'd stick his head out to be stroked and then wait until someone did. And he loved playing with newspaper, tearing it up and waving it around. Liked eating it too.

*hugs* Thank you, it's been a very difficult day even though I knew it was probably time to let him go. I'm glad the vets were able to do what needed doing here, so I could be with him at the end.

He was beautiful and completely daft. This isn't the picture I was going to post, but that one wouldn't load. I think maybe Misty wanted to be remembered just being himself, with ears going all over the place instead of laying tidily.

*hugs* I'm so sorry about your loss. I feel like I'm going to miss Misty from all your updates of taking him to get his teeth fixed. I know it was a hard decision, but you made the best choice out of love for him. I know he had a happy life because it's so obvious you gave him one.

I miss him, yesterday was so hard even though I knew it was the best thing for him. He was such a brave bunny through all his surgeries and treatments but it was time to let him go.

I'd be better if I didn't have a cough that's been keeping me awake and I've strained something in my ribs which is making coughing even more painful. Just waiting for my sister to arrive bearing painkillers because all ours are out of date and I've been in pain for nearly 12 hours now. Coughing hurts! Got about an hour's sleep last night.

Oh my! I am so sorry about Misty! I have gotten so behind on my posts again. I didn't know. What happened? Was it old age? I know you were having teeth removed. Poor thing.

He had another tooth removed, but he also had an ear infection in the inner ear which is inaccessible and possible heart problems too. George did everything he could but Misty wasn't getting better so the only thing to do was to put him to sleep before he started to really suffer. He was at the vet's for several days, but they bought him home and put him to sleep here so I could lay him to rest in the garden. It's been a very hard couple of months with mum's stroke and everything else.

So sorry that I won't be able to get a birthday card sent to you. I feel awful about it but your birthday has crept up on me in the middle of a really bad patch where everything is going wrong and I'm struggling to cope =(

Oh goodness! Don't you worry about my birthday. I feel bad that I have not been here for you more. You have been so good the last almost 2 years now I think. You have listened to me whine about everything under the sun and still was my friend and sister.

I love ya and I just wish I could give you a hug in person. Why did we have to live so far apart. :(

Please write to me anytime. I will check my every day...and DON'T worry about my silly birthday. I am so bad about remembering those things. I am sure I have missed yours too and I can't knit you anything anyway...lol!

He was, ans a lovely, good natured rabbit as well. Having him put to sleep was such a hard decision, but he wasn't happy so I had to do what was best for him.
