Summary: Ryo’s parents are gone and now there’s so much he can never tell them.

Losing his parents hurt so much, knowing he’d never see them again, never be able to turn to his dad for advice, his mom for a hug… There’d be no more family dinners, or vacations, or celebrations. No more anything.


What hurt Ryo worst of all though was knowing how much he’d taken them for granted while they were alive, always assuming they’d be there to see him grow up, graduate from high school and maybe college, get a job and settle down. They’d meant everything to him and… he couldn’t remember if he’d ever told them.


Too late now.

Aw, it's not too late. He can always tell them; I believe they would hear him.

I think so too, but deep in grief as he is, Ryo is just too consumed by self recrimination to believe much of anything.
